I have been lucky enough to take part in Sew Fresh Quilt's Dog Gone Cute QAL - and decided to adapt Lorna's gorgeous pattern to include this lettering. If my wall hanging inspired you to have a go, I have drawn out the dimensions and included the cutting instructions for each letter below (I’ve only done them for the larger block size – the smaller one may be a
little too fiddly). Note, you will need to cut two Os, Gs and Es.

ReplyDeleteI have been asked to sew a wallhanging for a nonprofit that provides a second chance for unwanted dogs and other animals in Texas to be auctioned off. Having enjoyed Lorna's Dog Gone Cute QAL, I decided to revisit the pattern. How delighted I am to discover your site and your interpretation! I extend a great big thank you for sharing your project plans so freely. I do believe this is perfect and what I will make for my donation to this worthy cause.
ReplyDeleteAww, thank you so much, I'm glad you found my post and the letters, this QAL was a lot of fun, I hope you enjoy making the hanging for such a great cause. Lou x
